During my recent stay at Almasur, I found myself navigating a mix of value and luxury. The first night was less than ideal, as I was placed in an outdated room in the old wing adjacent to a bustling bar, resulting in significant noise. Upon my return, I enjoyed a much quieter and updated room in the new wing, an experience that certainly elevated my perception of the hotel. Housekeeping maintained a commendable standard, with clean towels and linens. I appreciated the convenient filtered water station at reception-a small touch towards sustainability, which resonates with my commitment to eco-friendly practices. The location is a strong selling point; it's a short walk to the city center, waterfront, and numerous dining options, alongside free parking, albeit limited. The staff, particularly Fernando, was attentive and accommodating, enhancing the overall atmosphere. While the hotel delivers a pleasant experience considering its amenities and location, prospective guests should weigh the options of room bookings carefully to maximize both comfort and value.
